When I joined the team at AppDirect, our design director had just begun producing a handful of embroidered patches to give out to employees. Each patch marks something special—a company milestone, participation in a company event, or going above and beyond the call of duty.
Over time, the collection of patches has grown to nearly 100 unique designs, of which I've designed several dozen. These patches have acted not only as token gifts, but also to serve as a fun, informal documentation of the company's history.
