Also produced for my level three typography class, this map presents a range of interesting statistical data, as well as a map of the Dominican Republic. The focus of this piece considers the impressive contributions of Dominican players to Major League Baseball in America. The map plots out the birthplaces of the roughly 90 Dominican players listed on MLB's 2010 rosters. The right hand side of the composition includes relevant statistics about the country's social and economic climate, as well as figures on Dominican involvement in Major Leage Baseball.
